our Trimming Service:
We provide
mobile Natural Hoof Trimming services and will come to you
at your location. The trimming process involves trimming
excess hoof growth and rasping and shaping to achieve the
desired results to give your horse's hooves the correct
angles. We require a clean level spot to work and need you
to be there for the appointment so we can get acquainted
with you and your horse. If your horse has any issues
or bad habits, please let us know ahead of time before your
appointment. Please have your horse haltered and ready to go
when I arrive. Trims usually take between a half an
hour to 45 minutes.
What is a Natural Hoof Trim?
The goal of barefoot trimming is to get the
horse's hooves as close as possible to what would be found
in a
natural environment. If done correctly, a barefoot trimming
can be done in lieu of shooing. Some horses may always need
shoes for corrective reasons but most don't.
